First of all, I would like to thank you for getting to this page. I hope you can find a little of yourself in me!
My name is Giavanna, I am 22 years old, and I am currently living in Metro-Detroit. I just graduated with a Bachelors in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Michigan. Go Blue! As of right now I do not have a full-time job, which led me to this. I love to travel and visit new places. I recently had the opportunity to study abroad in Greece where I was able to visit various islands and cities in the country. I have also traveled to many other countries, which I would love to talk about with those who are interested! Besides traveling I love to spend time with family and friends, shop, and eat!
I feel that my thoughts and experiences should be shared with the world so others are able to understand, relate to, or can just enjoy reading about what I have to say!
Please feel free to leave any comments or suggestions. I want to hear from YOU!
I love this! I am excited to hear more about you and what you are doing after graduating!

I’m glad to hear that you are enjoying your free time traveling around the world. I love traveling and wish I can do more. Life is not all about 9-5; do whatever makes you happy. Having said that also make sure that passion can pay bills so you can be truly independent. Would love to connect with you if you are interested.

Hi, I first started following because you are from Detroit and a U of M alumni (so for nostalgic reasons.) Also, because I think you’re funny, cute and interesting. Don’t worry, I’m not a creep, nor a lesbian, crazy, or anything dysfunctional. What I am is a mom, with four daughters and a son of my own. Who sometimes finds ways to understand her own children and the young women who look to me for guidance, by listening to the voices of their peers who are more vocal, articulate and forthcoming about their lives and experiences. You’d be surprised how much I’ve learned this way and how much better a parent, communicator and listener this practice has made me. So, I’m here, with a open mind and heart hoping to embrace whatever ideas and or paradigms are revealed. Thank you, in advance.

Thank you, I appreciate you taking the time to read! Short term, I am open to anything involving media, communications, and even marketing. Long term, I hope to do reporting or news anchoring.

Definitely do it while you can and have fun. Life is not kind in that regard (Not be a downer) when you’re entrenched in the workforce.

Interestingly enough, we are in the same position in life, and I was also thinking of starting my own blog. I think you did a great job here, and I wanted to show some support. I have also been to Greece, specifically Thessaloniki, Meteora, and Athens. The sites were beautiful, and I could definitely picture myself living there. I could imagine myself owning a house painted in all white that sits by the beach and waking up every morning to the waves hitting the shore below. I would love to hear where else you have been. I try to live by the saying that life is a book, and those who do not travel read only one page.
